Ingredients for Tomato Bruschetta:
- 8 slices of homemade bread
- 1 lb (500 g) of KRISPR Baby Plum Tomatoes
- 8 leaves of KRISPR Genovese Basil
- Oregano, to taste
- Extra virgin olive oil, to taste
- Fine salt, to taste

Instructions:
- Start by washing and halving the KRISPR Baby Plum Tomatoes, then cutting them into cubes.
- Place the tomatoes in a bowl and add in washed and dried KRISPR Genovese Basil leaves. Season with oregano, salt, pepper, and oil.
- Mix well and let sit for 30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld (optional but recommended).
- While the tomato mixture rests, slice the bread and toast on a grill until crispy on both sides. Top the toasted bread with the tomato salad, drizzle with more oil, and let sit for a few minutes before serving.
Chef’s Tip:
For extra flavour, rub garlic on the freshly toasted bread slices or add drained tuna to the tomato salad.
