Ingredients:
- Approximately 5 ounces of water (1 wineglass measurement)
- An equivalent weight of sugar to the water (1 wineglass measurement)
- Zest of 5 to 6 limes
- 1 glass Lime juice
- A generous portion of KRISPR Lemon Basil, thoroughly pounded into a puree
Preparation:
- Place water and sugar in a pan.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer for 4 minutes with the lime zest.
- Remove the pan from the heat and allow the mixture to cool for a while.
- Stir in the lime juice and KRISPR Lemon Basil puree. Mix well and leave the mixture to infuse for a while.
- Pass the mixture through a coarse sieve and pour it into a plastic tub or earthenware dish.
- Place the container in the freezer. Typically, ice-cream takes around 2 hours to set.
- Try to stir it around every 30 minutes during this time, if you remember.
- Scoop the ice-cream into bowl and serve on its own.
